RIWANI Globe facilitated the TOT as the implementing partner of GIZ in the SASCI+ program "Sustainability and Value Added in Agricultural Supply Chains" was part of the special initiative "Transformation of agricultural and food systems". The Training of Trainers (TOT) aims to strengthen the capacity of farmer groups in Sigi and Poso, Central Sulawesi.

The TOT was attended by representatives from GIZ SASCI+ private partners such as OFI and JB Cocoa, along with Heads of Agricultural Extension Center (BPP), agricultural extension officers, representatives from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and GIZ staff.

The training was conducted from May 13-18, 2024, for the Regular TOT, and from July 8-13, 2024, for the FAST TOT. Participant engagement and activity levels were high, as seen from the dynamic discussions and their involvement in every session, group discussions, and games. The participants showed a significant improvement in their understanding of adult learning principles, participatory methods, and material related to strengthening farmer groups.
